Mike Themis – Principal & Licensee-in-Charge, Axios Real Estate
Mike brings over four decades of hands-on experience to Axios Real Estate. His journey began in South Africa, where he and Kathy managed family rental properties, ran successful businesses, and carried out extensive renovations that gave him a deep, practical understanding of property from the ground up.
After relocating to Sydney, Mike broadened his expertise through hospitality ventures in the CBD, work as a licensed business broker, and further property development. He later acquired a long-established Lower North Shore real estate agency, which he now operates under the Axios Real Estate brand.
With firsthand experience as both a landlord and business owner, Mike combines practical insight with a results-driven approach—helping property owners achieve the best outcomes in both sales and management.
Kathy Themis – Director & Co-Principal, Axios Real Estate
A genuine people person, Kathy built her career in South Africa alongside Mike, running customer-focused businesses that thrived on trust, service, and community. After relocating to Sydney, the two continued to work together—managing local ventures and coordinating numerous renovation projects that refined her eye for presentation, design, and practicality.
Today, Kathy leads Axios Real Estate with a service-first approach, guiding property owners on styling, marketing, and management across the Lower North Shore. Her warmth, attention to detail, and hands-on experience ensure every client enjoys a smooth process and confident results.
